The petitioner is the husband of the deceased and is in custody since 14.02.2017.

A report was called for about the stage of the trial. The report, kept at Flag-A, reflects that out of eight chargesheeted witnesses, four have been examined and coercive processes have been issued for compelling the attendance of rest of the witnesses.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to him for the present.

The bail application is dismissed.

However, the trial court is directed to conclude the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37418 of 2018(3) dt.18-07-2018 2/2 trial preferably within a period of six months. In case the trial is not completed within the aforesaid period, the petitioner shall have liberty to approach this Court for his bail.
