The petitioner filed this writ petition for direction to the Circle Officer, Dinara, Rohtas to get the lands of Plot No.572, Khata No.65, Plot No.573, Khata No.66 and Plot No.781, Khata No.180 measuring area 4 decimals, 4 decimals and 3 decimals respectively.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed petition before the Circle Officer, Dinara, Rohtas on 18.03.2015 for measurement and possession of his land but the Circle Officer, Dinara, Rohtas sat over the matter and did not pass any order except issuance of notice to other sides. The

Patna High Court CWJC No.23021 of 2019(2) dt.22-11-2019 2/2 Circle Officer is legally obliged to pass order in accordance with law on the petition filed by the petitioner and it is sheer inaction on the part of the Circle Officer to keep the petition of the petitioner for measurement of the land pending for years. In view of the facts aforesaid, the Circle Officer, Dinara, Rohtas is directed to pass order in accordance with law, if prayer of the petitioner is legally correct and get the land of the petitioner measured within two months from the date of receipt of this order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
