2. Petitioner seeks bail who is in custody since 24.12.2022 in connection with Parasbigha P.S. Case No. 368 of 2022, F.I.R. dated 21.12.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 385, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code but later on Sections 384, 386, 379, 411, 387, 414, 420, 467, 471, 468, 120B of the Indian Penal Code were added.

3. Earlier the bail application of the petitioner has been rejected vide order dated 17.07.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 23935 of 2023.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83498 of 2023(4) dt.13-03-2024 2/2 present case.

5. Vide order dated 05.01.2024 a report was called with regard to the present stage of trial. Report of the learned Trial Court dated 24.02.2024 reveals that all the five witnesses have been examined in this case and prosecution evidence was closed on 08.01.2024 itself and the case is fix for final argument.

6. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner carries seven criminal antecedents other than the present one.

7. Considering the report of the learned Trial Court, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Parasbigha P.S. Case No. 368 of 2022 pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jehanabad.

8. Prayer is refused.

9. However, learned Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial at the earliest.
