2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 498A, 325, 323, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The case is one under section 498A and the petitioner is husband. The complaint case discloses an allegation of demand of dowry and torture.

4. The matter had been referred to Mediation Center for amicable settlement of the dispute between the parties. It appears from the memorandum of agreement dated 30.06. 2025 passed in mediation proceeding no.1722 of 2024 that the issues

No.86243 of 2023(9) dt.24-07-2025 2/3 between the parties have been resolved and the parties have agreed to live separately upon an agreement from the petitioner to pay an amount of Rs. 2,25,000/- to the OP.No.2 as full and final settlement of the grievances between them. It has been agreed by both the parties that the entire amount has already been paid to OP.No.2.

In such view of the matter, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest/ surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/ successor court in Complaint Case No. 986 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.PC.

6. However, it is expected that both the parties would strictly adhere to the terms and conditions as agreed between them and would co-operate each other for withdrawal of civil/criminal cases and filing and disposal of mutual consent divorce under section 13(B) of the Hindu Marriage Act.
