1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Paraiya P.S. Case no. 214 of 2024 registered under section 409 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner who happens to be a Sub-Inspector and was posted at Paraiya P.S. did not hand over charge of the cases under investigation thus leading to problem in further investigation. Thus, the F.I.R.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner in reference to the statements in paragraph nos. 7 and 8 of the petition submits that subsequent to registration of the instant F.I.R. on 13.7.2024, charge of all the pending cases have been handed over on 16.9.2024. 5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the F.I.R., the statements made in paragraph nos. 7 and 8 of the petition according to which all the pending cases which were being investigated by the petitioner, subsequent to his transfer charges of the same have now been handed over and the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Paraiya P.S. Case no. 214 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya.
