2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barari P.S. Case No. 363 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

3. There is allegation against the petitioner to have possession of an illegal country made pistol and ten live cartridges which was earlier used for theft.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 13.02.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner has eight criminal antecedents of similar and serious nature.

6. Considering the allegation and the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
