The petitioner seeks bail in Raniganj P.S. Case No. 104/2014, instituted for the offences under Sections 467, 468, 379 and 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged in the written report that Shipu Kumari, daughter of Mahanand Yadav was married with this petitioner and both were residing in the house of Mahanand Yadav. It is alleged that few months ago Shipu Kumari (wife of this petitioner) had stolen voter I.D. Card of informant and on search, she returned the same.
The petitioner is in custody since 21.03.2015. It is surprisingly that the petitioner is in custody for
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51298 of 2018 (2) dt.25-09-2018 2/2 such a long period and trial is still pending before the court below. Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 104/2014, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
