JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 29-11-2024 This application has been filed for modification of the order dated 22.08.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 50026 of 2024 seeking extension of time for furnishing bail bonds of the petitioners.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that petitioners have already been granted privilege of anticipatory bail vide order dated 22.08.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 50026 of 2024 but they failed to furnish bail bond within the stipulated period of time and now, the petitioners want to surrender before the learned trial court. Learned counsel, therefore, prays that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83957 of 2024(2) dt.29-11-2024 2/2 time granted for surrender may be extended by another six weeks' from today.

3. Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State has no objection over the same.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the period granted for surrender is extended by another six weeks from today, in connection with Paharpur P.S. Case No. 420 of 2023 to the satisfaction of CJM/ concerned court, at Motihari, East Champaran subject to payment of cost which is quantified at Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) to be deposited in the Lawyers' Association Welfare Benevolent Fund.

5. The order dated 22.08.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 50026 of 2024 is modified to the above extent.

6. Rest of the condition as stipulated in the order dated 22.08.2024 shall remain as it is.

7. The present modification application, accordingly, stands allowed.
