The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No.8551 of 2019 arising out of Sachivalaya P.S.Case No.254 of 2019 registered for offences punishable under Sections 37(b)© of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of pick-pocketing of Rs.22,000/- and he was arrested at the spot.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has been falsely implicated in this case, nothing has been recovered from his possession. He is in custody for 2 1⁄2 months. Charge sheet has been submitted.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71905 of 2019(2) dt.11-12-2019 2/2 Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount2019 each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise Act, Patna in connection with Special Case No.8551 of 2019 arising out of Sachivalaya P.S.Case No.254 of 2019 with condition that he has to appear before the police of his local area for a period of nine months so that his conduct may be watched by the Police.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent of Police concerned district.

With the above direction, this application is allowed.
