2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 8(c), 21(c), 25 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. Total 600 liters of Codeine syrup was recovered from a pick-up van and apprehended co-accused disclosed the name of petitioner and others.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the alleged pick-up van and has got no concern with aforesaid recovery. Petitioner has been made accused only on suspicion. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS Act, Purnea in connection with Kasba P.S. Case No. 175 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
