2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case in connection with Paru P.S. Case No. 385 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 126(2), 115(2), 76, 303(2), 85, 352, 351(2), 351(3) read with Section 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case,on 23.10.2024, the petitioner allegedly called the informant from her house on the pretext of marriage and solemnized marriage with her in a temple. She has a photographs of this ceremony as proof. On 28.10.2024, when the family of the petitioner returned from Punjab, they did not allow the informant to stay at their home.

Later, the petitioner refused to keep her. On 05.07.2025, the informant went to the petitioner's house at village Rampur Kesho then all the accused persons including the petitioner assaulted her. The co-accused Raushan and Vicky assaulted the informant disrobed her, snatched her mangalsutra and threatened to kill her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner had never performed any marriage with the informant. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned,

(i) The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bond of the petitioner is liable to be cancelled.
