The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Dalsingsarai P.S. Case No.111 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 307, 379, 325, 435 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant named the petitioner along with other accused persons and alleged that they having armed with different weapons came and Ramesh Kumar Mahto fired from his pistol in the air, Jagdish Mahto, Mani Kant Mahto and Shankar Mahto assaulted with iron rod. Ram Bali Mahto, the petitioner and Pankaj Mahto sprinkled petrol on tractor and ignited the same. The accused persons brutally assaulted the other persons. Taking into consideration the aforesaid facts and the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40024 of 2018 (2) dt.11-07-2018 2/2 fact that the petitioner is alleged to have sprinkled petrol on the tractor of the informant and set it ablazed, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

If the petitioner surrenders in the court below, the learned court below shall consider the regular bail petition of the petitioner taking into consideration that other accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by this court. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) Amit/- U
