The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioner in connection with Special Case No. 1332 of 2019 arising out of Kursakanta P.S. Case No. 255 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 13.5 litres of illicit Nepali liquor from the motorcycle of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 01.10.2019.

No.72742 of 2019(2) dt.25-11-2019 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court deems it fit and proper to grant regular bail to the petitioner, above named, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Araria in connection with Special Case No. 1332 of 2019 arising out of Kursakanta P.S. Case No. 255 of 2019.
