Petitioner seeks bail in Mahila P.S. Case No. 12 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 342, 354A, 354B, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of outraging the modesty and attempt to commit rape upon the informant. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the occurrence is of 21.04.2018 but FIR has been registered on 24.04.2018. It has been further submitted that there is previous dispute regarding possession of land between the petitioner and the father of the informant. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 24.04.2018.
