The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable u/s 341, 342, 447, 352, 384, 386, 504, 506, 120(B) of the IPC and section 67 of the I.T. (Amended) Act, 2000.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner no.1 tried to extort money from the brother-in-law of the informant and used to threatened the informant and other family members by flashing pistol. It is further alleged that the petitioner no.1 used to demand Rs.5,00,000/- and in failure to do so, threatened to

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners are quite innocent and have committed no offence. They have been falsely implicated in this case due to ulterior motive. It is submitted that petitioner no.1 is married with the brother-in-law (dewar) of the informant and earlier the petitioner no.1 has filed a case against the husband and his family u/s 498A and other sections of the IPC. Thereafter, the informant has filed the present case against the petitioners. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner nos.2 and 3. There was love affair between the petitioner no.1 and the brother-in-law of the informant and on their sweet will, they solemnized marriage with each other but the family of the husband is not ready to keep the petitioner no.1, therefore, with a view to harass the petitioner no.1, the present case has been filed against her and her family. Petitioner no.3 has no criminal antecedent and petitioner nos.1 and 2 have two criminal antecedent.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail. 6.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, since there is no specific overt act against the petitioners, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of

No.82170 of 2023(2) dt.04-01-2024 3/3 their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/Successor Court in connection with Shahpur Patori P.S. Case No.425 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) pallavi/- U T
