Petitioner has prayed for the following relief: "For issuance of nature of the writ of mandamus for direction to the respondents for considering the case of the petitioner for restoring position of his seniority as Addl. District & Sessions Judge on the ground he was appointed as Juridical Officer on 13.12.1990 but his name placed below to the officer who appointed later on to the petitioner and further

Patna High Court CWJC No.23372 of 2019(2) dt.28-11-2019 2/2 issue direction to respondents for considering for grant of promotion on the post of District & Session Judge on the ground Junior to the petitioner has been considered for promotion on the post of District & Session Judge and further issue direction to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of promotion on the post of District and Session Judge w.e.f. the date Junior to the petitioner has been considered for promotion and further give other legal consequential benefit to the petitioner."

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition reserving liberty to approach the authorities concerned afresh for redressal of his grievances. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
