Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No.48 of 2018 registered under Sections 341, 323, 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that when the informant denied to go with the petitioner, he was assaulted by the petitioner by knife causing injury at his back.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on petty issue both quarreled, there is only one injury at the back, moreover there is no repetition of blow and there is no piercing injury though the injury is said to be the grievous one. However, the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has been in custody since 09.03.2018.

No.41574 of 2018(2) dt.12-07-2018 2/2 Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Chandan Rai is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No.48 of 2018.
