1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ or direction, directing the Respondents to give protection to the petitioner and to evict the Respondent No. 7 from the house of the petitioner, constructed by him over Plot no.884 Khata No.133, having an area of 14 Dhur, which he had purchased after retirement, in the year 2016, from police service and then he had constructed three rooms with the amount of his retiral dues. The petitioner is residing there with his wife, where the

Patna High Court CWJC No.18283 of 2024(2) dt.03-12-2024 2/2 Respondent No.7 is also residing and the said house is situated at village-Kurthaul, P.S. Parsa Bazar, in the District of Patna. The Respondent No.7 is always beating the petitioner and his wife, torturing them in different ways and threatening to oust the petitioner from the house which has been constructed by him."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
