2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Dumariya Ghat P.S. Case No. 231 of 2025 dated 08.08.2025 registered for the offence/s punishable u/ss 80, 85 read with Section 3(5) of the BNS.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have tortured the informant's daughter mentally and physically due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and thereafter she committed suicide.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is the sister-in-law of the deceased. The petitioner neither demanded any dowry nor tortured the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80077 of 2025(2) dt.01-12-2025 2/2 deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated at para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner, who is a lady, is in custody since 09.08.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner and submitted that as per the final examination report of the deceased, mentioned in the impugned order dated 10.10.2025, the opinion regarding the cause of death is due to poison which is kept reserved.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Dumariya Ghat P.S. Case No. 231 of 2025.
7. The application stands allowed.
