The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Darpa P.S. Case No. 86 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 304(B), 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding the accused persons having killed the victim lady on account of non-fulfillment of the demand for dowry.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased victim lady and his son is already in custody, hence no prejudice would be caused to the prosecution in case the father-in-law i.e. the petitioner herein is granted the privilege of regular bail. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72227 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 and he is languishing in custody since 05.09.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Raxaul at Motihari in connection with Darpa P.S. Case No. 86 of 2019.
