The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 180C2/ 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The allegation is regarding recovery of 33.75 liters of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner, said to be in joint possession of his co-sharers.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that though the petitioner is accused in two other cases, but he is on bail in the said two cases. The petitioner is said to be languishing in custody since 17.10.2019.
