2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that due to clerical error, the mistake crept up in the name of petitioner as also his father's name in the voters' list. The name of petitioner no. 1 has been mentioned as Ranjay Kumar Singh in place of Sanjay Kumar Singh whereas name of father of the petitioner no. 1 has been mentioned as Pratap Singh in place of Rana Pratap Singh. Likewise, the name of petition no. 2 has wrongly been mentioned as Rajjan Kumar Singh in place of Sajjan Kumar Singh. Both the petitioners have filed their application on 11.11.2024 with regard to correction of name in

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State Election Authority has submitted that the cut-off date of filing objection on the draft voters' list was 22.10.2024 but the petitioners have filed application on 11.11.2024 which is much beyond the last date of raising objection and on 25.10.2024 the final voters' list was published.

4. The petitioners have filed their application which is beyond the limitation. As such, it cannot be entertained.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) Nirmal/AKV U
