Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is mother-in-law of the victim of dowry death. Husband is already in custody. There is general and omnibus allegation against all the family members including the petitioner of commission of assault and torture for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand. The petitioner is in custody since 01.05.2018.
Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the general and omnibus nature of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44724 of 2018 (2) dt.01-08-2018 2/2 allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation against the petitioner in this case on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Nalanda Police Station Case No. 60 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner as well as condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
