2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8, 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. The case of the prosecution is that 815.82 grams of smack was recovered from joint residence of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that without the FSL report chargesheet has been filed. In this regard, perused the charge-sheet and FSL report. From perusal of the reports it is clear that chargesheet has been filed much after the FSL report. The quantity of contraband is of commercial quantity. The petitioner is in custody since 30.04.2024.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, however, he may renew his prayer for bail after six months.

7. Accordingly, the present bail application stands rejected.
