The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kasim Bazar P.S. Case No. 136 of 2019, G.R. No. 1583 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is that Police recovered two country made pistols along with six live cartridges from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case by the Police with oblique motive. Learned counsel further submits that petitioner is in custody since 18.06.2019.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72521 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 taking into consideration the fact that petitioner has got criminal antecedent and altogether eight cases are registered against him, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of regular bail to the petitioner, and as such, the same is rejected. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for regular bail after completion of one year in custody, if the trial does not show any progress.
