The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 439 and 440 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the specific allegation of assault by iron rod and bamboo stick is attributed to the co-accused Ashok Paswan and Hiralal Paswan and there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 23.06.2019.
