The petitioner in this case is seeking regular bail in connection with Piro P.S. Case No. 10 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been remanded in this case after recording his confession in another case by the Police. It is further submitted that though the petitioner is in custody since 22.06.2019, he has not been put on test identification parade.

Learned APP has opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case wherein this petitioner is allegedly involved in 8 more cases of similar nature which have been lodged against him since the year 2014 and there are apprehension that if the petitioner is released on bail at this stage, his attendance is not likely to be

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72048 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 procured easily and there being a threat to the society on release of the petitioner because he is allegedly a habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to grant him bail at this stage. The application is dismissed.
