2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No. 159 of 2025, instituted under Sections 126(2), 329(3), 115(2), 118(1), 303(2), 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, seven accused persons including the petitioner abused the informant and assaulted him with lathi-danda. Allegation against the petitioner is that he snatched golden Hanumani from the neck of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is case and counter case between the parties. Allegation of snatching Hanumani from the neck of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78384 of 2025(2) dt.05-01-2026 2/2 informant against the petitioner is super-addition. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the investigation and trial. Other co-accused persons, namely Krishnandan Ram, Anita Devi, Kanti Devi, Shivjee Ram have been granted anticipatory bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Sitamarhi, vide order dated 21.05.2025 passed in A.B.P. No. 545 of 2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. I, Sitamarhi in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No. 159 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482 (2) of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (B.N.S.S.), 2023.
