2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 304(B)/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. It is a case of 'Dowry Death'.

4. Petitioner is husband of the deceased (daughter of informant) and there is specific and direct allegation against this petitioner that he alongwith other family members committed torture and cruelty to the daughter of informant for dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the same, they killed the deceased. From perusal of post-mortem report, it appears that ligature mark was present around the neck and cause of death was asphyxia due to hanging, hence post-mortem report corroborates the F.I.R.

Considering the fact that petitioner is husband of the deceased and there is specific and direct allegation against him couple with the fact that post-mortem report also corroborates the F.I.R., I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and same is, accordingly, rejected.
