Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is father-in-law of the victim of dowry death. Husband of the victim is already in custody. Allegation is that death for non-fulfillment of dowry was caused within two years of her marriage. There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same. The allegation is general and omnibus.

Considering the entire facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation against the petitioner on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47923 of 2018 (2) dt.20-08-2018 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Telhara Police Station Case No.16 of 2018, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
