2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 444/2024 dated 13.07.2024 registered for the offence punishable u/s 126(2), 115(2), 109(2), 303(2), 351(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons along with 4-5 unknown miscreants took the informant to the field with an intention of killing and started assaulting. In the meantime, the petitioner assaulted the informant with iron rod causing injury on his head. Thereafter, the co-accused, Triloki Keshari assaulted on the nose with an iron mortar, causing injury and Tony Keshari and four or five

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85451 of 2024(2) dt.09-01-2025 2/3 unknown miscreants snatched Rs. 42,000 from the pocket of the informant and a gold chain from the informant's neck.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged occurrence. The occurrence took place on 11.07.2024 and the F.I.R. was registered on 13.07.2024 without reasonable explanation. The petitioner has one antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 16.07.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Lakhisarai in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 444/2024, with the condition ;- (i). The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable
