18-08-2018 Heard Sri Abhay Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody in Sessions Trial No. 259 of 2018, arising out Kanti P.S. Case No. 328 of 2017 registered for offence under Sections 363, 364(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code, has prayed for grant of bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that without any cogent material, the petitioner has been made accused. He further submits that till date, charge has not been framed.

However, fact remains that in the case, an eight year old boy was kidnapped and ransom was demanded. During investigation, petitioner's name transpired and after

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48822 of 2018(2) dt.18-08-2018 2/2 investigation, finding the accusation true against the petitioner, chargesheet was submitted against him and case has already been committed to the court of sessions.

Considering the seriousness of the accusation, there is no reason to entertain the prayer for bail.

The prayer for bail stands dismissed.
