2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Saraiya P.S. Case No. 425 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 80(2), 3(5) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners are mother-in-law and sister-in-law(Jethani) of the deceased respectively and they along with others are said to have killed the deceased for demand of dowry.

4. The petitioners are in custody since 22.08.2025.

5. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the marriage of the deceased was solemnized

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78740 of 2025(2) dt.19-11-2025 2/2 with her husband in the year 2023 and the allegations made against the petitioners are false.

6. Upon perusal of the materials available on record, it appears that the main allegation is against the petitioner no. 1 of torturing/killing the deceased, and accordingly, her bail application is dismissed.

7. So far as petitioner no. 02 is concerned, she is sister-in-law of the deceased and she holds the same position in the house as the deceased, her application for grant of bail is allowed.

8. Let the petitioner no. 02, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM-4, West, Muzaffarpur/concerned Court below in connection with Saraiya P.S. Case No. 425 of 2025.

9. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed with regard to petitioner no. 01 and allowed with regard to petitioner no. 02.
