2. Petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Ramgarh Chowk P.S. Case No. 189/ 2024 dated 20.10.2024 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 30(a) and 32 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.
3. The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioners are that the instant matter relates to the recovery of 135 litres of toddy from a Toto vehicle, though, the petitioners were found present in the said vehicle at the time of recovery but they had no knowledge of the transportation of alleged toddy and they have been languishing in jail since
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83111 of 2024(2) dt.04-12-2024 2/2 21.10.2024 and investigation has been completed against them and they have fair and clean antecedent.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the bail prayer.
5. Considering the petitioners' custody period and completion of investigation against them, this court is inclined to accept their bail prayer. Accordingly, let the petitioners named-above be released on bail in connection with Ramgarh Chowk P.S. Case No. 189/ 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/-( rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
