2. The petitioners have moved the Court for the following reliefs:
"That this writ application is being filed for an appropriate Writ/Writs, order/orders, direction/directions commanding respondent authorities to make the payment of entire retiral dues of the deceased mother of petitioners and the respondent no. 6 like Group Insurance, Leave Encashment, Gratuity, and any other dues during her service period with up to date interest."
3. Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the University in which it has been stated that the dues of the late mother of the petitioners have been calculated and comes to Rs. 22,88,216/- and the petitioners along with respondent no. 6 being the heirs, the amount has been divided equally among them and each would be entitled to payment of Rs. 7,62,739/-. It was further submitted that the petitioners and the respondent no. 6 are required to submit affidavit that they are the only heirs of the deceased employee and further also give indemnity bonds that if in future, the University has to pay the amount to any other person(s), the same shall be recoverable from them.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the same shall be complied with.
5. Having regard to the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioners to appear before
Patna High Court CWJC No.17303 of 2018 dt.27-09-2018 3/3 the Registrar of the University and complete the formalities, in accordance with law, upon which the cheques in their favour shall be handed over to them. The same be done within one week from the petitioners appearing before the Registrar.
