2. This application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking a direction upon the respondent authorities for releasing the husband of the petitioner according to the policy decision of the State Government.

3. From the counter affidavit, filed by the State, it appears that the petitioner has not completed imprisonment of 20 years with remission.
