JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 21-11-2019 Petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bheja P.S. Case No. 98 of 2019, corresponding to G.R.No. 1376 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. It appears that on information police intercepted a boat and Kewat was arrested, who disclosed the name of the petitioner as the person who was carrying liquor and on search 164 and odd litres of liquor were recovered from the boat. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has falsely been implicated on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, having no criminal antecedent. Heard learned APP, who has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.
