2. The petitioner asserts that land appertaining to Khata No.913, Khesra No.50, Area 42 decimal, Thana No. 147 is a public land, which has been forcibly encroached upon by some private person. He has approached the Circle Officer for removal of the said encroachment by making an application on 23.07.2019 and on various other dates.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is disposed of with an observation and direction that let the petitioner's allegation be looked into by the Circle Officer, Bihiya, Bhojpur and if it is found that any encroachment has been made over a public land, he shall ensure

Patna High Court CWJC No.25344 of 2019(2) dt.19-12-2019 2/2 initiation of a proceeding, in accordance with the provisions under Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956.
