2. The petitioner, in representative capacity and in public interest, seeks a direction for construction of
Patna High Court CWJC No.1222 of 2025 dt.25-04-2025 2/3 drainage in a particular area falling within the territorial jurisdiction of Sampatchak Nagar Parishad.
3. The Chief Executive of the Sampatchak Nagar Parishad has responded to this petition by stating that a resolution was passed detailing the necessity for construction of such drainage. The estimate of the Junior Engineer is also being prepared. The matter would then be referred to the Government for necessary disbursal of the funds for construction of the drainage system.
4. A new drainage system, according to respondent No. 5, was required to be built as the drainage system existing earlier was damaged during the construction of a road under the Chief Ministers' scheme.
5. The process for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner has already been set in motion.
6. Thus, we do not find any good reason to continue with this writ petition.
7. The writ petition stands disposed off with the hope and trust that the construction of the drainage
