2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the F.I.R., on 12.08.2024 at about 1:35 A.M., the son of the informant went outside to urinate. In the meantime, three miscreants on one motorcycle and one miscreant on another motorcycle came and fired three rounds upon the informant's son, due to which he sustained injuries and fell to the ground. Thereafter, all the miscreants fled away, out of whom the informant identified two miscreants, namely Deepak Kumar (the petitioner) and Sahil Kumar. The informant took his son to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.

4. The petitioner appears to be the assailant of the deceased and is in custody since 26.06.2025.

5. Considering the nature and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, and the same is accordingly rejected.

6. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 26.06.2025, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Neha/- U T
