====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 10-01-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of Union of India.

2. The petitioner is in custody since 22.08.2023 in connection with Harlakhi P.S. Case No. 228/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/22 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, there is recovery of 22 grams of brown sugar from the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the alleged

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in connection with Harlakhi P.S. Case No. 228/2023.

7. The petitioner is directed to mark his attendance in Jaynagar, Madhubani on 1st Sunday of every month failure to do so will result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Saif/- U T
