Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence under sections 376/511 of the Indian Penal Code on the allegation that he along with co-accused Subhash Yadav entered into the house of the informant at 10/11 PM and tried to commit rape on her.

Petitioner, refuting the allegation, submits that he is innocent and has committed no offence.

In view of the allegation against the petitioner which is supported by the witnesses, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail within a period of six weeks, which would be disposed on its own merit without prejudice.
