2. The petitioner had participated in the Secondary Annual Examination, held by the Bihar School Examination Board, in 2018. He has been declared 'pass' with first division. The petitioner is, however, not satisfied with his score given by the Board against various subjects. It appears that the petitioner had applied for scrutiny of his answer-sheets. In respect of three of the answer-sheets, the Board did not find any requirement of change. However, in the subject 'Science', his marks have been enhanced to '75' from '73'.

3. This writ application has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to re-examine and re-evaluate of his

Patna High Court CWJC No.17662 of 2018(2) dt.06-09-2018 2/2 answer-sheets. This is not in dispute that the Regulations do not prescribe for re-evaluation or re-examination of the answersheets. In such view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioner, in the absence of any exceptional circumstance having been made out based on pleadings in the writ application.
