2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201 , 120 ( B ) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code .
3. It is a case of dowry death. Allegation is that petitioners along with other accused persons killed daughter of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No. 1 is mother-in - law and petitioner No. 2 is cousin father-in - law of the deceased and they are victim of over implication. Specific accusation is against husband of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84374 of 2024(3) dt.28-02-2025 2/2 deceased. Petitioners are separate in mess and property and have got no concern with family affairs of the deceased. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.
5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application .
6. Considering the aforesaid submission , clean antecedent of these petitioners and other circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional CJm Vth Gopalganj in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 12 of 2024 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure . (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Koushik/- U T
