2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No. 118 of 2000 (G.R. Case No. 2040/2000) dated 19.10.2000, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. This is the second attempt of the petitioner.

4. Earlier prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail was dismissed as withdrawn on 30.01.2004 vide Criminal Miscellaneous No. 34854 of 2003.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the present case has been lodged under Section 302 and allied sections but the parties have compromised the case. Learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2759 of 2024(2) dt.07-02-2024 2/2 counsel further submitted that petitioner is an old lady aged about 70 years.

6. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions, this is second attempt of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. If the petitioner surrenders before the lower court within four weeks and prays for regular bail, the same shall be disposed of, preferably, on the same day, on its own merit, without being prejudiced by this order.
