2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 103, 85 and 3(5) of the BNS and Sections 3 & 4 of the D.P. Act.
3. As per prosecution case, daughter of informant was married with co-accused Manish Kumar on 19.04.2018 and after the marriage, she was subjected to cruelty and harassment by all the accused persons due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and ultimately the accused persons committed the murder of informant's daughter.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80923 of 2025(2) dt.27-11-2025 2/2 petitioner is husband of the deceased. The deceased herself had committed suicide. Police after investigation submitted chargesheet under Section 108 of the BNS. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 09.05.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Sherghati (Gaya) in connection with Imamganj P. S. Case No. 138 of 2025.
