2. Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was refused by this Court vide order dated 19.10.2022.

3. Trial court's report dated 17.1.2024 reveals that only the Investigation officer and the doctor are left to be examined.

4. Considering the progress of the trial, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected with direction to the trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of one year, failing which the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew the prayer for bail.
