Patna High Court CWJC No.22637 of 2019 dt.04-02-2020 2/3 having acquired Ph.D. degree with effect from 01.01.1996/27.07.1998 till he attained the age of superannuation in the year 2009.

2. The petitioner claims the aforesaid privilege on the strength of a judgment of this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 1968 of 2017 dated 27.09.2018.

3. The additional prayer for the petitioner is that if this claim of his is allowed, then he would also be entitled for arrears of salary, revision of pension and earned leave on account of addition of two increments.

4. The petitioner, under the aforesaid circumstances, is directed to make a suitable representation, annexing a copy of this order as well as the order passed in C.W.J.C. No. 1968 of 2017, before the Registrar of the L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga within a period of three weeks, who, on receipt of such representation, shall verify the records and ascertain the entitlement of the petitioner. If it is found that the claim of the petitioner is tenable in view of the decision referred to above, necessary orders shall be passed/caused to be passed for redressal of the grievance of

5. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
