Patna High Court CWJC No.1293 of 2024(2) dt.02-05-2024 2/3 ORAL ORDER 02-05-2024 Mr. Gaurav Govind, learned Counsel for the petitioners submit that in this case, client after filing of the writ petition took N.O.C.

2. The present petition has been preferred for the following reliefs:- (i) for issuance of an appropriate writ/ writs/order/ orders quashing the Social Impact Notification dated 25.03.2022 issued under the signature of the Collector, Patna;

(ii) for issuance of an appropriate writ/ writs/ order/ orders quashing the preliminary notification dated 08.12.2022 issued under the signature of the Collector, Patna;

(iii) for issuance of an appropriate writ/ writs/ order/ orders quashing the declaration dated 11.03.2023 issued under the signature of the Collector, Patna;

(iv) for issuance of an appropriate writ writs/order/ orders quashing the award dated 12.06.2023 issued under the signature of the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna.

3. The matter relates to construction of Patna Metro

Patna High Court CWJC No.1293 of 2024(2) dt.02-05-2024 3/3 Station Project, the petitioners case is that the social impact notification is fit to be quashed as proper social impact assessment was not taken into account after adequate publicity about the public hearing.

4. Lots of water has flown down the ganges and Patna Metro Project is now on its way, the petitioners after filing the writ petition chose to take N.O.C. from the learned Counsel who drafted/filed it.

5. Though N.O.C. has been taken, no fresh vakalatnama is on record. In that background, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
