The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Durgawati P.S. Case No. 269 of 2018 dated 18.07.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 325, 354(B), 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the occurrence took place because of land dispute and for the same occurrence, a counter version has also been put up by the accused persons. The petitioner is said to have assaulted one Pinku Kumar who is stated to have received only simple injuries caused by hard and blunt substances. The petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent.

No.57751 of 2018(2) dt.11-12-2018 2/2 For the aforestated facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaimur, Bhabua in connection with Durgawati P.S. Case No. 269 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
